Crochet a Fourth of July Bow

HAPPY  FOURTH of JULY!

For those of you that don't know:  I LOVE Independence Day, a.k.a Fourth of July:) there's just something about cookouts, fireworks, and festive desserts that get me hype. I also love the creativity that goes into getting all dressed up for this holiday. Since dressing up is my thing, I decided that a cute red, white and blue bow, specially made by moi, was perfect for the occasion. Below is a crochet pattern and pictures for an Independence Day Bow...Your welcome;)

Pattern for Crochet Bow:
Supplies Needed:
  • 3 small skeins of yarn in any shade of red, white and blue that you please.
  • Scissors
  • Headband w/o any embellishments on it
  • Crochet hook of any size (But I used an H/8 5mm hook)
Instructions:
Using Blue, chain 26.
Row 1: Still using Blue, Single crochet in each stitch in chain (25 single crochet)
Row 2: Switch to White . chain 1 and turn, single crochet across (25 single crochet)
Row 3: Continue using White.  Chain 1 and turn, single crochet across (25 single crochet)

Row 4: Change to Red and do one row of single crochet (25 single crochet). Cut yarn and leave long tail for weaving in ends. Using whichever color you please (I used RED though) slip stitch the sides of bow together. It should look like a rectangle. Cut yarn and leave a long tail for weaving in ends. Using whichever color you please (I used Red) chain 4 and wrap around bow, while chain is still wrapped around bow slip stitch last chain to the first chain, and  cut the yarn and leave a long tail for weaving in ends. Your bow is just about complete, all you have left is to attach it to the head band. You can either use a glue gun or fabric glue to glue the bow to the head band or you can just slide it on through the chain around the middle of the bow if the head band's not too wide.
HAPPY FOURTH Y'ALL:-)
